Finanzas descentralizadas, activos dixitais e tokenización: o proxecto Casa de Outeiro
· Approximate date · Santiago de Compostela

Lecture at the University of Santiago de Compostela on decentralized finance, digital assets and tokenization through the Casa de Outeiro project, with Juan Luis Vázquez.
Digital assets in the university classroom
Pablo Gómez and Juan Luis Vázquez present Casa de Outeiro in the Aula Profesional at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. The session brings tokenization, digital assets and decentralized finance into a discussion with students, using a project developed in Galicia as its practical reference.
In his announcement, Gómez connects the subject with his experience of university education and with the need to discuss technologies already being applied outside the classroom. The session is supported by the faculty and Loreto Fernández. It combines the perspective of Metlabs’s blockchain work with Vázquez’s role as founder of Casa de Outeiro.

Capital, heritage and community in Galicia
The project’s presentation connects digital finance with attracting capital to local initiatives, preserving heritage and creating a community around real-world assets. Those are the purposes described in Gómez’s announcement. The economic discussion extends beyond the technology used to represent participation, addressing the relationship between a project, the people involved and the place in which it operates.
Casa de Outeiro gives the university session a named case through which to discuss business, investment and territory together. Starting with an actual project makes it possible to distinguish its economic activity from the digital tools supporting it. The published account places the encounter within a broader effort to connect academic learning with practical experiences in Galicia.
